Yoorah's Noob Photography

  As some may know, I decided to try to get into photography a while ago. Now I've finally got me a camera, an Olympus E-PL5. I quite like it and hope it'll be my trusty partner in crime for my photography adventures for a while to come. :D
  
  The only thing I need now is some skill. :P
  
  It's a bit late and I'm lazy, so I'll organize this thread another day. But for now I'll leave these here:

  I was just out on a walk for testing the camera and chasing sea gulls (don't ask... I even have a video which I may upload later..), when I found this cute squirrel (I totally didn't chase it up that tree). Snapped a random photo and it turned out better than I thought it would. xP

  Sea gulls are normally tiny birds you look down upon. But with the right shot, I find that they can look quite majestic. :D

  Portrait/depth of field test, I think it worked out well. Badass sea gull is badass. o/

  SQUIRREL! I love Squirrels! That seagull was very fat. But damn that's a really nice camera. Must have been expensive zzzz.

  It was a bit on the expensive side, because I bought it as soon as it was released ($700 for camera + basic zoom lens). I expect they'll drop the price down to $600 later. But photography in general is pretty expensive, because high grade lenses cost quite a bit--some more than the camera itself.
