  Not enough red upgrade protection stones in the world to do that. I didn't do my celtic swords because I knew I didn't have the luck to succeed with just 3 stones. I figured I could succeed once with 3.

  So for tribolt you would want at least 455 magic attack. Pretty sure Kaeporo messed up with the colors on that one though as I've seen him state several times that Red is better for the tribolt wand

  Mmk people please refrain from degrading accomplishments. People can be proud of step 6 even if it's not as difficult with event stones. I seem to remember people posting accomplishments of step 5 equipment when we have had several ezmode events for that. Eventually all old content is doomed to become easy with time, it's part of the FTP model.
  
  It could also be argued that complaining that people didn't step 6 prior to this event is a continuation of the step 6 hype which was disallowed in this thread in the past.

  I failed both of my upgrades, which is a shame. I've got a bunch of those special upgrade stones (7) sitting in my inventory but I planned on letting those expire from the start.
  
  On a brighter note, I finally have enough AP to cap every skill in Mabinogi but my motivation to play is at an all time low. Hopefully the Alban dungeon gives this game some fucking meaning again.

  Unlocking/trading would take far too much time and money for it to be worth the effort. If the upgrades had instead glitched and somehow blown up my weapons I would continue to give an equally low amount of fucks about the outcome. Oh, no. Someone, somewhere might deal 10~200% more damage than me. A lot of good that'll do 'em.

  It only binds when it fails, so it's not that bad if you already spent a ridiculous amount on an r5 weapon (reforges/enchants) an extra 4m and a few 50ks to ensure r6 is a pretty hot deal.
  
  It took me like 5 mins to mail an r5 demon bar and some 50k gold bags to a couple of alts until it got r6.
