What I found was easy was run away from the mob, just far enough away so that when you load Smack, the cursor that indicates whether it's in range or not is right at the limit and there's a swarm of mobs there. Use Smack, and then immediately rush through the mobs so that they can't hit you, and they all pile up into one nice group, and repeat. Use roar to finish off any stragglers. Basically, just keep moving. Since you have advanced heavy stander, standing still is only going to get you killed since every hit will connect with you without interruption.

I still finding this impossible to beat. It always laggs out after smash on last wave. Even using a Pentium D 954 at 3.4ghz.

I too am haveing trouble with this battle. I can get to the last wave but can't seem to finish it off.
The Lion takes up too much of the screen, the moves have a really slow windup and it is really tricky at times to gauge where you're going to swipe.
Maybe it's just because I play so differently but I am haveing a real hard time getting a feel for this battle.
I like a nice minimum aggro slow and steady approach.
and I admit upfront I have a slowish connection so I do suffer from some minor rubberbanding not an issue when I'm facing a few creatures but when there are dozens that few seconds is lag doom.
there are some times I will swipe right where a large groop is and they won't take a single hit then they turn and start chopping me to bits.
to be honest I could take them all if I could just drop the lion form and use my bow. or if the Lion didn't have to posture and roar before every attack, or if the Lion were smaller so I could see more and maneuver better.
But I'm not giving up so if anyone could give some advice other than get gud I would appreciate it greatly.

Just managed to finish it.
So here is what worked for me maybe it will help others that stumble this way.
I never used the roar.
and I only used a normal attack if I was down to about 3 monsters.
Just keep using swipe. it has a range of three paces and a windup of 3 seconds.
so bound three steps away from Shambala swing your camera around and swipe on her.
then run forward 3 paces and repeat.
when you get to the bears kill everything else first. they do not agro except when you hit them.
then run from them till they wander off or do their roar then swipe them. after the swipe run again.
Is it heroic? No.
does it keep your lumbering posterior from being their chew toy?
Yus!
