So I recently updated my graphic drivers right?
One of those updates from the nvidia site?
Well, now my computer has gone downhill.
For some reason, sometimes, when I play a game, it just crashes the whole computer and I'm forced to restart.
Can anyone explain?

Is the card too much for your computer to handle?

It's the one that came with the computer, so I don't understand why the update wouldn't help it.

Do not upgrade drivers when your computer does NOT need them... Good luck downgrading drivers.

My computer needed them though.

I hadn't updated ANYTHING since I bought this thing....Lol.

That's weird. What else have you done lately that could maybe make the computer upset?

Nothing really.
I haven't downloaded anything in the past week.

lol, did you get the CORRECT driver?
Also, try reinstallation.
And if further experiments are necessary, attempt a System Restore and see if it undos your driver update, and if the problem is fixed, you obviously DONT want to update your driver.

My laptop got this annoying flicker updating to the related Nvidia drivers available on the site that would work for it. Rolling back got rid of it. Apparently I haven't had to use any driver except for the stock one that came with the laptop in 2007.

I downloaded the one straight off the site :x
And I system restored.
It SEEMS to be fine.

Driver updates are infamous for causing issues
IF you dont really really need it
Keep your old drivers

Don't just update stuff if you don't need it.
