Is it worth it to add a new graphics card and even RAM?

Sure it is D:
I use single core and it does everything I need it to. 32bit, 4 GB RAM and 256 MB video memory.
Sucks by today's standards but I'm outperforming people with quad cores who don't know what they're doing.

Knowing what you're doing is always a good thing.

What I do on the PC with those specs is mabi, photoshop, fallout3, video watching, utorrent up 24/7, and any other media type of stuff.
My laptop with even worst specs is web browsing, work and skype.

I'm using a single core for one of my computers. AMD's make really great single cores. And the computer runs nice and smoothly.
Though honestly, you should probably just go duo core if you want to game.

imo it is not. it's just too old. you should try to get a quad these days, but dual core is still good enough if you have one depending on its architecture.
although mabinogi only uses like 1 core from what i can tell.

Single core works if you don't multi-task too much or play really new games... I can handle Aion with a single 2.8 so I guess they work to a certain extent.

That's why I'm worried.
I want to play Aion and such.

Just upgrade to a dual core if you have an AMD motherboard. They're only around 60 dollars or less iirc. If you have a decent budget you can still afford a gfx card, or another RAM stick.

Heck yeah I got AMD.
I'll suggest it to my mom as a B-day present for me =w=

I only have a single core, though i learned how to build my own system and work on pcs last year. If only i had the money i would build my own system and get a great cpu and graphics card and stuffs.
But right now most of my money goes to nx, and candy, so i wont be able to for a while. At least i can play most games on my computer fine as long as i don't have torrents up or internet windows open.

Don't buy NX and save up!

It really depends.
I'm running a single core intel celeron proccessor for laptops, which is 2.0Ghz.
It has 1GB of RAM, VISTA 32-bit, and 250mb video memory with 128 used by the system.
That's the worst case scenario right there, seeing as upgrading doesn't do much, even if the ram is upgraded.
It really depends on the clock speed of the processor. Even then, you can overclock if it it's a non-laptop computer.
