Molester Man

  I did not read the story on 2ch but I think he will not end up with Kansai based on 3 simple facts:
  1)Why is the manga still ongoing if they already are all lovey-dovey?
  2)There's a golden rule! The first girl to appear in a manga will end up with the protagonist. (though, I don't know if this rule had any exceptions so far)
  3)On the manga's description, it says: "Molester Man is the story of how Molester Man is mistaken for a stalker by Miss Understanding, and how they overcome their personal challenges while slowly growing closer to each other" which feels really odd to end up with Kansai :\
  
  P.S.: Still, my fav is Loli by far xD

  1. Pretty sure the story is done. Maybe an extra left or something.
  2. Golden rule does not apply. Look at Onani master. That's another one of Yoko's works.
  3. Not really relevant. It's just the beginning of the story.

  It's just that.. Kansai's a no for me.. feels like he'll stop being an otaku forever after this..

  1) The doujin has been done for at least 5 years now, if I'm not mistaken. It's only recently been translated.
  2) That "golden" rule is more of a typical trope and usually only in harem series that are heavy on ecchi and light on romance. If there's no legitimate reason why the main character and the first female protag he sees should be with each other it can also pretty much lead to a pretty bland/bad story. Also, Ichigo 100%, for example, shits all over that "rule."
  [SPOILER="Spoiler"]3) How does "guy who has no friends or love life except respectively his right hand and onaholes gradually becomes friends with a trio of really attractive girls who once thought he was trying to molest one of them" not denote "gets closer"? Besides, Molester very early on admits that he was really only interested in Miss Understanding because she was more or less the first cute girl he'd fraternized with in his adult years. But even then all I was thinking was "All roads definitely lead to Kansai," from their first conversation in the restaurant to the strangely informal texting they were doing shortly after, considering they'd known each other for such a short time.
  
  Miss Understanding becomes a background character pretty early on, truth be told. Almost as quickly as Mr. Glasses.[/SPOILER]

  I love all the parts where in a normal romance novel the girl would take the hint or be swept off her feet but instead, she'd go "._. What?" or just not get the meaning behind what was just said.

  I read this manga all in one go, it was splendid.
  
  [SPOILER="Spoiler"]I remember that from the very beginning I got the feeling that Kansai stood out much more than Miss Understanding (her glare showed more character than Miss Understanding did in the whole chapter).
  During their first meeting, the way she acted towards him, the way she tried to help her friend get over her fear of men, all of that and more, it all simply reinforced my notion that she was the kind of girl Molester needed, and not Miss Understanding (although she did become a good friend of his). Then later on we have Loli with her big jug..I mean eyes, trying to seduce Molester. The moment he refused, I was like "He's a man among men, that Molester!".
  
  In the end, I was completely satisfied with the ending. It's been a while since a manga simply seemed perfect to me. Truth be told, I can't think of anything that would make it better.
  
  Also, I've got a question I would like you guys to answer:
  In this page.
  
  What did they mean when they said Kansai lied to Molester? Tried as I could, I couldn't find anything during the chapter where they had dinner. The only thing I can come up with is that Kansai didn't tell Molester about the Stalker being caught, but that isn't a lie, so....[/SPOILER]
  
  I would recommend this manga to anyone, it's that amazing.
