  Who cares about these guy's "bright futures" ahead of them? They deserve to have their lives ruined because they definitely just ruined this girls life.

  I wonder IF they truly should get their lives ruined. I'm impartial, but I could understand why others would/ would not want them to be punished. Eye for an eye? You ruin a girl's life, you get your life ruined as well?
  
  I will agree that this was absolute vile and the criminals need to experience some form of punishment. And the accomplices as well. Anonymous already threatened to release their social security numbers, and the hacked into the principle of the school's email. I downloaded the .zip file from the link and saw what kind of emails were there... some very strange nudes...along with some forms....
  Their lives are already getting ruined.

  Considering rape is a felony, being convicted of it will ruin their lives.
  They will never be able to get/use scholarships and grants, and let's say they pay for college, it will be nearly impossible for them to find a job and use the degree they worked so hard for.
  
  If they do manage to find a job and not live off of welfare, it won't be much above minimum wage.
  
  And this is excluding being shunned by everyone for being disgusting, dangerous people, and this is excluding the 3 - 10 years in prison (which isn't enough) if they are convicted.
  And that is just the rape charge, not including the attempted murder charge.
  
  And this might sound wrong, but if there was some sort of assassination of these sick freaks I would laugh my ass off and wish their piece of shit parents who defend a bunch of rapists the most grief of their lives.
  
  If my child ever did something like that, I would still love them, but I would rather see them in prison then to get away raping and almost killing a girl.

  Supposedly the prosecuting attorney is the mother of one of the boys and tried to discourage the relatives of the victim from pressing charges. Not sure how true that accusation is, though.
