  not trying to start anything,but kinda curious why you think its stupid, but i also can't question your opinion. I believe it adds a new aspect to older pokemon and gives them a new cool look to the already good look, stats to go with them, also throws a twist in competitive play.

  I'm OK with mega evolutions, I just don't like how they are giving them to Pokemon who don't need power boosts. Mewtwo, Garchomp, and Blaziken, for example, are strong enough. That's why they are some of the highest tier Pokemon. They work fine the way they are now.

  I decided on X after I saw the cute pink fluffy thing...I still kind of want a Tyranitar though, maybe later when I start trading with others for version exclusives.

  Hm... Difficult decision is difficult. Y legendary is clearly better, yet X has cooler Charizard. Heracross > Pinser and Tyranitar > Aggron... Both versions have ugly pink things. X has cool lobster Vs. Y's ugly seahorse...

  Keep in mind if you get x you can get the mega stone for tyranitar and then trade for it. The mega stones for agaron and tyranitar are in the games they are not in.

  I'm with all this. But holy crap.. there's no shape shifting anymore, they just go inside a ball and pop out? Evolution has been dumbed down for 3D :U but I guess it's sort of understandable.

  I think it's the same as when an old song is covered by a new band- they're making them relevant again. Although some of them are a bit too recent to really need this.. it really re-revved my interest in Charizard to see it become both my favorite color scheme and my favorite type in its X Mega, so I cannot complain one bit. xD

  Only Mega Pinsir get the new typing. All the new confirmed Mega evolutions of Banette, Alakazam, Medicham, and Heracross does not get a change in their typing.
