Pokemon X and Y - Announcements and Discussion

Also earned my first million bucks in game. Getting cash is super easy post game, haha. Walking into the super expensive boutique and buying everything there in one go? Feels good man.

Where? I'm having difficulty with finding the cash to keep buying everything I want to post-game without repeatedly murdering the Elite Four.

Is there a method aside from doing the Battle Mansion with an Amulet Coin & O-Power & Writ as well?

You can't play with an egg, silly!

Apparently that's the message that comes up when you try and play with an egg in the Aime system.

    Brilliant!

First, finish the game. Second, grind your o-power prize money up to about level 3, and lastly make sure you equip the amulet coin onto the poke you'll be using. Then swing round the restaurant Le Wow (The three star one) in Lumoise city. It's costs 100k to get in, but trust me if you can sweep their pokemon lineup you'll be making double back in no time.

You're given a five course meal and between each meal you have to battle. The trick is to time the battle length with the number of turns the trainer tells you before each match. Naturally, having your poke faint on you loses points as well.

The O-power is only supposed to last for three minutes, but because the restaurant event is one long unbroken chain of battles the power won't wear off until you're given back control of your trainer, which means you can battle for over 10 mins with the effect uninterrupted if need be.

The first two battles should net you 60k each, and the last few 24k each. At the end depending on how close you stuck to the predicted turn schedule you'll be given balm mushrooms as a take-home gift. 25 is the most you can get from a perfect score, though anything over 20 mushrooms is good really. These can be taken to the pokemon mart and sold for about 6.5k each.

By spamming this you can be a millionaire in no time. It also gives your pokes some nice training too.

The trainers you'll be fighting have their pokemon in the level 60-65 area, so be sure you can stomp them if you plan to do this. :>
The even more prestigious restaurant, the Sushi High Roller, costs 500k to get into, but it's not worth it IMHO. You can't make back what you spend to get in even when they give you a take-home bag of big nuggets at the end. Just go in to log the waiter's rare pokemon in your dex and to watch the dancing girls and never return. :U
Use them a lot. It doesn't say how much to level up so just spam them forever. (On me preferably. :D)

Gamefreak will release more megastones not found ingame(like blaziken's) as time moves on.

I don't think its spoiler worthy but I am going to mention that some old pokes are getting their BST buffed a little. Cleffable gets like 10 more base sp.atk(?) I don't remember the other ones since they are still finding them. Also some pokemon have been found with an extra ability(scolipede got speed boost) even though they already had 3 so I assume this means second hidden abilities are a thing now.

For those of us who've tried it, has anyone gotten anything good from wonder trade so far? Best things I've done are Goomy->shiny Mareep and Tyrunt->Larvitar trades. Mostly gotten fodder though.

Can I have one of those too? Dragonite makes an awesome HM slave, and I have the mega stone for Tyranitar somewhere.

I'll be on my way to work in 30min :(

I haven't tried Wonder Trade yet. I did make another Sylveon this time with proper nature. Thinking of making her a Special Attacker that can take a few special attacks with some healing and anti status affects
