Hey guys,
I am currently level 46 and I am using the level 54 equipment from the Returnee's package. I almost haven't spent any money at all until now (at almost 1 million).
This set will expire in 25 days, so I have plenty of time. :thumb:
Which weapon / set should I be looking for to craft? BTW I am a cestus karok.

Well, you usually make major expenditures once you hit Lv. 60.
For your weapon, you'll probably be interested in either the Chiulin Cestus, Stone Breaker, or Stoneshell Cestus.

I don't have the prices available off hand, so I suggest you look for yourself once servers go back up. Just be aware that critical can arguably be ignored on a Cestus Karok due to refreshing buffs and the Destroyer buff, there's the potential to crit infinitely without any crit stat.
Armor wise, as usual I advocate the Exquisite BH/Swift mix until Lv. 70 where you swap to the BH/Apocryphal mix.
It's the Exquisite Black Hammer Helm/Tunic/Greaves and the Swift or Apocryphal Gloves/Shoes.
Just look into the crafting mats and marketplace prices and go from there. My price estimate would be like 30m-50m for a BH/Apo and Cestus.

What do you consider more reasonable: crafting your own or buy from others? Just generally speaking what would be most efficient?

I typically go the farm items for profit route (certain things like S2 Essences, enchants, etc.), sell that stuff, then buy what I need.
But for someone without the funding to get started, I'd probably suggest farming them yourself. You can farm the Stoneshell mats, Chiulin and Stone Breaker aren't really viable to farm yourself. Farming BH mats is a pretty good way to get some practice (as Black Hammer is a somewhat difficult boss when you're first starting).

I am 58 now and started to level up my experitse. Do you have any tips on that, for instance which items are the cheapest to craft?

I wouldn't bother with expertise for a while. It only becomes profitable once you get into the Lv. 60 equipment, and it becomes a case of spending money to make more money once you do get there. Once you have the ranks, it doesn't really make that much profit without having some money first. You spend money to buy mats, craft items, and break even if it's a 2*, lose money if it's a 1*, and make a few million profit if it's a 3*.
Issue being it is a big investment to even get to that point, and it will hardly pay for itself when you're still leveling it.
Plus I have no idea what your expertise is, so I can hardly give any advice. Even if I did know, the best way to make sure the prices are accurate are to take a look at what items in your list give EXP, what you need to make them, and then do the math yourself.

Invertex, I just want to thank you for your quick and helpful replies!
Now, I reached 70 recently and wondered what should I do now? I'm basically still at the very beginning of my S2 main stories. Which bosses should I farm? Where should I grind EXP?
I'm using the Exquisite Black Hammer (Helmet +5, Chest +3, Greaves +5) / Swift (Gloves & Boots +3) combination right now. My Chiulin cestus is +10. Is there any boss I can farm in regard of future equipment except for Elchulus for my Apo' gloves & boots?

Well, S2 is a very touchy thing to farm. You could try farming essences from Monark and Kielu, but that might be difficult depending on your exact stats.
In general, once you hit 60 the only thing you really can do is run your raids daily and hope for some rare drops. That's what virtually everyone who was at 70 did for a long time. You could also go enchant hunting, as you'll probably want those extra stats eventually.

Don't bother grinding anymore now that you're 70. Just play and you'll level. Level 80s cost like billions.
Raiding is good. Even if you get nothing, the seals will add up over time. Farming hero mode is slightly more boring and difficult, but pays off better for the time spent. It's really unfun and involves running the same map 10-20+ times in a row though, so most people don't do it.

Quote from RebeccaBlack;1018903:

What exactly do you mean by that?

Lv. 80 weapons take 5 Lakoria fangs to make.
Lakoria Fang's current market value is 200m each.
5x 200m = 1b.
Not counting any infusions, enchants, and enhancements on the weapon.

Yeah, even if you can afford to make the weapon, you then have to enhance it, enchant it, etc. You're still going to have to pay for several of the same enchant scrolls to scroll it, infusion, the stones required to actually get it to +8 and then +10, etc. And that's if you pay money. Without runes, you're going to have a hard time.
Generally, I don't advise spending all the money you have even if you have enough.
