Why does that exist and why do people obsess over it? Every time I go into one and then forget all about it, I get kicked. I even AFKed once for dinner (and ANNOUNCED it) for 25 minutes within the battle and I still got kicked.
Just why is it a big deal? EXP is crap and getting a rare item is like one in a million.

Because everyone's doing work while you just reap the benefits, and possibly get the really rare items.
I actually agree here, afkers should be kicked, especially how hard and annoying those 24 man raids can be.
Infact 24 man raid afking got so bad before that system was implemented I got into parties that couldn't even pass the mission due to 3-4 people being afk.

Yeah, too much work gets put onto other players when people AFK, and there's always the chance that you get something good for just standing there being an ass.
I find the kick option to be a blessing, and one that I've had to use more than once.

Why do you expect to not get kicked if you're going to be afking for dinner o__o. As everyone said. A chance at a rare item is still a chance at a rare item. Why are YOU doing the raid then?
And if by "go into one and forget all about it" you mean go into a raid, forget you're in raid, and afk, and still expect to not get kicked, I'm really not sure what to say. That's really the main point of the kick system...for the people that are afking and/or griefing.

Yeah. You're doing a raid. Either contribute or don't do the raid. Kicking is for exactly that-- people who AFK and let others do the work while they get the benefits.

It's a raid, so be there or be gone! And nexon ought to change how 24 men raids work. Why did they make it that lv. 40 players can enter as well? I mean they literally do nothing beside dying. (no offense to them)

They're supposed to play supportive roles and stuff. Like carrying water and shooting the ballista.

Yes good point if this only happens in Red Elchulus. But in Beokros and Siglint they serve no purpose (alright the catapult in Siglint). And all of these is based on that "if". I have seen way too many lv. 40s and 50s run straight towards an AOE.

They're really not very good at thinking things through. The only way to make this work is to force the 40-59s into the supportive area.
I kinda like it though. I think the 24-man thing is, well, interesting. Ridiculous, but interesting.

Interesting for sure. My facepalming when you see instant 10 deaths after an AOE.

*imagines 24 people only using kicks as attacks*
