I've been playing since forever in windowed mode, but I decided to hit the full screen to see for once what it was like after all these years...
What I noticed is that I have literally no frame lag in full-screen, but at the same place, I experience a drop of frames in windowed mode. The place I was trying it at was at Tara.
Is there a reason for this? I don't want to play in full-screen mode to feel absolutely no frame drops. But if it's inevitable, then so be it. ;;

I dont get whats wrong with full screen. But doesnt having Window mode cause your computer to work harder since clicking out of the screen is an action causing your processor to work that just little bit more. If you alt tab you know it's almost exactly the same as window mode

Weird. I usually get 60 fps in full screen and 80 in windows mode.

Mabi runs better in fullscreen, period. It also puts less stress on your graphics card.

Because max FPS is capped (vsync) to your monitor's refresh rate when you are in full screen.

Vsync can be pretty nice, but windowed mode has problems like moving the cursor to the edge of the screen rotates the camera... or switching to a golem or something, or opening the options, makes the client lag out for like 10 seconds. Useless.
