Okay after trying out a couple paid antivirus' and running into issues I need to stop and ask which antivirus is actually good and does not
1) Break Windows 8 Apps
2) Break Maplestory
I had Kaspersky but that broke Windows 8 Apps and I may want to go back to Windows 8 in a year or so (Shoot me, cause I fucking LOVE the Metro Screen)
BitDefender had no problem with the Windows 8 Apps but kept cockblocking Maplestory and it's HackShield/NexonGuard (Do note that Windows 8 is not the issue as my laptop with no antivirus runs Maplestory perfectly fine)
My alternatives I was thinking of was Avast and AVG. Hell no to Norton and I'm iffy on MacAfee.

MacAfee is as bad as Norton.
Worse, really. Avast/AVG are good choises. MSE is a good choice as well.

What's MSE? Microsoft Security Essentials? (Which is auto bundled with Windows 8 isn't it?)

Microsoft Security Essentials or AVG.
They're free and work great.

Not sure if it or isn't. If it is...the talk around town is that it's more than enough to protect you.

Well that's interesting, so with that I technically don't need to bother with antivirus if I just do a full reformat and install Windows 8 only (Drivers will fix themselves I'm sure. If not, I have the drivers disk that came with my Desktop.)

I know you're probably tired of hearing this, but if I were to reformat I'd install win 7.

Windows 8 does indeed have MSE built in and so you don't need a 3rd party AV. The only thing I don't like about it is that they removed the option to manually scan files via right click. Or perhaps I just didn't find that option and/or they changed it since.
The drivers included in Windows 8 are indeed updated and generally better than what Windows 7 ships with, however you should still check with your computer manufacturer and/or component manufacturer (Intel for chipset, Intel/AMD/NV for GPU drivers, etc) to see if a newer version for Win 8 is available.

Ironically enough Windows 7 didn't have half the necessary drivers I needed. Essential things like Graphics Driver, Network driver, and had so many problems on a fresh install than when I did a fresh install of Windows 8. Go figure huh.
Looks like I'm keepin with Windows 8 here xD
In fact, everything is working so smoothly that I don't think I need to do anything. Time to get finishing setup then. Thanks for the advice guys.

What's with all the hate with Norton? I like Norton. Works great.

MSE sucks, never use it.
It's failed the AV test twice now.

I like Norton, but it's not free and it used to destroy windows if you uninstall it. If you buy an antivirus, you might as well get a better one than Norton.
I like MSE even though it failed that test twice. Avg is bloatware now and avast has too many popups even though I unchecked the popups in settings.

MSE is awesome. Use it!
