Sort of.
First it was metal gear rising then it got completely reworked from a prequel to mgs4 to a sequel.
Now it's called metal gear revengance which is a strange mashup of vengance and revenge; supposedly the word has to do with the failure of mgs rising.
Basically Raiden is now back with 50% more metal and 50% less flesh.
And 100% more crazy.
