Advanced Magic Arrow range increased by 10%
Advanced Magic Arrow damage increased

By the way, why did everyone consider Lann "fast"? O-o

And just for those who want to know, this is the post-buff nerf version. As in they toned down some of the insane damage and SP gain already, she was more powerful initially post buff. The nerf patch is the same one that contained the Staff buff, but that whole patch went relatively under the radar unless you really kept up to date with things.

And when the only other characters that existed were prebuff Fiona and Scythe Evies (as if anyone used pre-revamp Staff), of course Lann would look fast. Heck anything looks fast when you put a Hammer Fiona next to it.

Faster, it's just very poorly translated.
They typoed Radical Fever as Racial Fear for example. Then edited it to cover it up.

When I'm in normal parties, I sometimes wish that we had the old healing system again.

And then I look at 24-man raids and wonder why I thought that.

Hmm buff the cash cow more then cestus. I feel bad for Cestus not getting a considerable buff.

I will agree that Cestus buffs weren't significant enough, but it's a starting point.

The general speed increase is more noticeable on the later smashes, which of course do more damage. This allows Cestus to get to the higher smashes more often, meaning more damage. It also means that doing the buff refresh is less pointless as you'll get crits on smashes that actually do proper damage.

Granted that this still doesn't fix Cestus' subpar percentiles, but it's still a boost to the DPS department that pushes it closer to where Pillar is. The other buffs are mostly novelty/gimmick buffs, but it's a start.

The most awkward thing about Cestus is that they have really good base stats. Like 1k more Att by default than the other classes. Also unlike the other weapon types with innately high Att stats (Hammer/Scythe, which both are about 300-500 less Att than Cestus), it still maintains a good Balance stat (mid 70s versus low 60s). That's in addition to a 1.2k Att buff that only Spear Lann can compete with, plus a 10% speed (20 Att Speed) buff. On top of that his third buff allows him to run Explosive while ignoring the biggest flaw in that scroll (-7 Crit). The only other classes that can do this are Kai and (arguably) Vella.

What this essentially means is that an endgame Cestus Karok will be getting really close to 20k Att while everyone else sits at 17k-18k. Meaning Cestus will get twice the base Att on Kraken and 50-75% more Att on Lakoria.

Pretty much what all of that means is they're still buffing and nerfing everyone, just give them more time. This is actually a nerfed version of Scythe, post-buff pre-nerf had even more damage and SP gain.
