And I just have to say.
"What the fuck?"
I actually liked the first third of the show and then from then on it was nothing but ideals and whatnot.
And I really didn't like how CB was in a lot of hopeless situations which they always won. Apparently graduating from tactician university allows you to lead 4 of your units to overcome any possible situation. The A-Laws should have just quit after their third fight with CB considering that they lose millions of dollars every time they lose to them.
The only thing I got in the show was that "humans have to understand each other"
The lieutenant killed his father the colonel because they DIDN'T. What an anvil drop...
And of course they had a billion cheesy and cliche lines.
Lots of "Get out of my way!", "Dammit!" (Kuso..), "I won't let you!" etc etc
Well there goes my only day off of the week..

Yeah true.
I was surprised that it was from 2007 considering how recent it seemed in my mind.
Then I remembered that I was watching it during my time in high school. I was still criticizing it back then for the script and plot.
Best thing from 00 was Setsuna saying he was a gundam and the rest of the meisters going "Okay that's crazy even in OUR standards."

Don't forget to watch the movie that goes along with Gundam 00.

I'll do it next week.
I heard it has aliens and was pretty decent.

I rate 00 higher than most of the other Gundam series simply for the mechs and what art quality it could retain for the time (some of the later eps get really derpy art-wise).
Regarding the tactician, don't forget that she was specifically scouted for her ability by a quantum supercomputer (ie. they didn't just pick any graduate). She was mostly the victim of plot in that regard ("brilliant" some moments, braindead others) but that's the "official" reason anyway.
If you didn't like the ideals aspect of the series then you'll probably like the movie even less.

^ That catchphrase turned into
"I NEED TO CHANGE!" in season 2.
Oh and best episode in s2 was the part where everyone forgot their differences for a short moment to destroy the falling panels to save tens of millions of lives. Sans the ending where that guy kills his dad.

I prefer unicorn and wing to 00 especially s2. I found myself not liking the characters and the story like in season one.

Another thing about 00, Trans-am=hax.

Season 2 was a bit wonky because the Japanese thought it wasn't Gundam enough, so they put more things in it to resemble UC and CE. The whole yelling ideals in the cockpit when fighting, Graham becoming A CHAR for no real reason (at least even his subordinates were laughing at him for it), the designs being more homogenized to look more like a "Gundam" (double mouth vents like most UC Gundams), disastrous romance with an enemy that ends in tragedy (Lockon II and Anew was similar to Kamille and Four Murasame in Zeta Gundam), I could go on...
The movie is a bit better. Gundams look crazy again, aliens aren't just humans with strange features like star trek, they're actually... alien. (people compare them to ender's game a lot) but they'll really hammer in the whole UNDERSTANDING theme with a sledge hammer. Decent wrap up to the series but they could have done a lot more in the end.

This was probably the greatest travesty of Season 2 in my opinion. Graham Aker was so cool in Season 1, and in Season 2 you just can't take him seriously.
