  So I've been all over the internet researching, learning and picking, heres what I've got so far.
  
  Approximate Purchase Date: Sunday, or throughout the rest of the week.
  Budget Range: The aim was $1500 for everything, but a little bit over is fine.
  System Usage from Most to Least Important: General usage, Gaming, Programming, Video Editting
  Are you buying a monitor: Yes
  Parts to Upgrade: Starting from scratch
  Do you need to buy OS: I think I have a copy of Windows 7
  Preferred Website(s) for Parts: http://www.msy.com.au/, http://www.scorptec.com.au/, http://pccasegear.com/
  Overclocking: I don't think I should need to overclock with what I've got. The GPU might be factory clocked.
  SLI or Crossfire: At this point no, but I want to keep the option open.
  Your Monitor Resolution: Something between 1280 x 1024 ---> 1920 x 1200? Only buying 1 monitor for now, maybe getting a second in a couple years.

  GPU: Powercolor Radeon HD7950 PCS+ 3GB Boost Heard good reviews about the 7950 for value for money. Sapphire branded ones are like $30~$40 more, so switch with Powercolour?
  RAM:Corsair Vengeance 8GB Kit(4GBx2) DDR3-1600 CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 RAM is cheapish, right? So I can get more if I need more later
  HDD: WD 3.5" Blue 1TB WD10EZEX SATA3 64M 7200rpm HDD The Samsung F3 Spinpoint is like impossible to find so I went with WD instead. The WD blue is like $30 cheaper than the black.
  SSD: Intel 520 Series 120GB SATA3 Solid-state Drive Intel 520 over OCZ Vertex 4?
  MOBO: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H ATX Motherboard D3H is l$18 cheaper than UD3H
  Case: Fractal Design Define R4 Titanium USB3 Mid Tower Case Without PSU Heard good reviews, looks okay. Wish I could get the white one. :c
  PSU:Coolermaster GX Power 750Watt PSU Power Supply Unit I might be using two mintors in future, also slim chance I might use Crossfire. Is 750W still too much considering that?
  Fan: The Fractal R4 comes with 2 fans, one for intake, one for outtake. Do I need more?
  Opticdrive: LG Blu-Ray Combo So I can play CD games and watch bluray movies :sol:
  Monitor:Haven't picked one yet. Thinking 21 inch?
  Keyboard: Haven't picked one, looking for something around $50. No wireless please.
  Mouse: Haven't picked one, looking for something around $50. No wireless please.

  You don't really need ram with cooling fins since ram in general doesn't have heat issues and the size of finned ram can be annoying when you're trying to add more cooling in the future.
  
  The i7 is a little overkill xD Just a tad. The i5 3570k is the same thing without the hyperthreading (which games currently don't use).
  
  Oh and to clarify, I mistook Saphire's post as yours. Browsing on a smartphone is really annoying.

  [2] I'd change the PSU. 550w is ideal for one GPU, 650w for 2 GPUs, and 850w for 3 PSUs. I'd recommend a Seasonic 650w, but the one you have is cheaper. Iunno if you want to get a Antec 650w can't really recommend it since my friend and I have no experience with Antec PSUs, but from what I've seen antecs are popular online, didn't even know Coolermaster made PSUs.
  
  
  [3] Logictech G500 has gotten very very good reviews, and as a for a keyboard it really doesn't matter since mechanical keyboards aren't found around the $50 price tag. Just avoid "gamer brands" like Razer. And as for monitors it's pretty hard to find one for $100. Just go for the best one. I suggest just buying a decently price keyboard and spend the rest on a monitor.

  Razer DeathAdder is a really good mouse though, so don't completely avoid Razer, they do have some good products (some, not all of them. Razer Onza is a piece of shit for example)

  My friends have reported unresponsive buttons after a few months. One even bought 2 more Razer mice (don't know the exact model) since he thought he had bad luck.

  After Compass mentioning the coolmaster PSU I did some research and found that coolmaster wasn't recommended at all, so I forked out a bit more for an Antec 750W, just to be on the safe side.
  
  Downgraded from the 3770k to the 3570k to save myself some money. Had to do some persuading though.
  
  Didn't have Corsair Vengeance ram so I just switched to G.Skill Ripjaw for the same price. Meh.
  
  The case is suprisingly HUGE. Which is a lit annoying, but hopefully the extra space will prove rewarding.
  
  And I was going to get a Logitech G9X off Newegg for $55 but the sale ended sadly so I just bought a razer.
  
  It's kinda late now so I'll begin the construction tomorrow. Kinda nervous for my first time. :whoops:
