Alright, so I need a camera that'll take fairly good quality pictures of say...pages from an artbook, but won't cost me an entire paycheck.
Work your magic for me Mabination, I'm not destroying the binding on these things by using my scanner.
[S]Looking to use for the purposes of digitally importing artbook pages, you're actually going to find it better to buy a scanner. They are much cheaper than you might imagine, sitting only around 50 dollars for pretty decent ones.
You can't even go wrong with cheap printer sets at walmart. HP and Epson both have a good selection under 100 dollars.
I have one of these. At 1200 dpi, it's nothing professional, but you won't miss anything noticeable to the naked eye.

Oh. Disregard my entire post.
Cameras usually aren't up to the task unless you stretch your budget far. You'll either have to destroy the bindings or go up in the 200+ range.
You should share it when you're done.
