I'm looking down the list in the steam store, and I can't find anything appealing.
PS: No bastion, that game annoys me.
Please and thank-you! :llama_excited:
My current games:
Tf2
Terraria
HL2, HL2-Episode 2, HL2 Lost coast
L4D
Sacrifice
Portal
Killing floor
Command and conquer 3 w/ kane's wrath.
- Just in case someone suggests something I got already.

y u no hav magicka
Also, Antichamber might be good. From what I can tell, it's like Portal meets Escher. I have it, but I haven't had time to give it a try.
Closure and Superbrothers may be some other ones to check out. Superbrothers was pretty hypnotizing. I haven't tried Closure yet, even though I have it.
Sandbox...have you seen/tried From Dust? (Yet again another one I have, but haven't played)
As far as non-indies go, you might look into Mirror's Edge if you haven't already.

I'm going to suggest The Witcher franchise since it's one of the RPG games my friends are raving about and it's currently on sale.
As well with Alan Wake
RPG
Arx Fatalis - Played the demo and loved it. Made by the people who made dishonored $5
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 1 & 2 - Old yet amazing games. I only played the first one, but hear the second one is amazing as well $10 each
Fallout series - Do I really need to explain fallout? :> $10 each for 1, 2, 3 (non-goty) and FO:NV ultimate edition is on sale for around the same price on newegg and activates on steam.
Half Minute Hero: Super Mega Neo Climax Ultimate Boy - Fun and quirky RPG. Currently playing Hero 30, I think each generation/mode has a different gameplay. $10
Deus Ex: Game of the Year edition: Great first-person RPG. Gives you a variety of ways to solves mission Cult Classic $10
Elder Scrolls: Morrowind Game of the Year Edition May not be the prettiest game, but fans consider it one of the best Elder Scrolls game. Also you can find mods to pretty up dem graphics. $20
Dishonored - I heard it great just like Deus Ex lets you solve the level you want to $60
Action
Half-Life 1 - So good, so fun, so great. If you already have it try the Sven Co-op mod it's a co-op half-life that you can play with 32 players. ($10)
Serious Sam Series - Played 3, it's fun, there's co-op which is hectic and you always have to keep moving to survive.
Metro 2033 - A post-apocalyptic shooter game that's based on a really good book. Hear the game is pretty sweet itself. $20 but you may already have it if not I have a steam key
Chivalry: Medieval Warfare - I keep hearing this game is fast paced fun, didn't try it on the free weekend. My friends love it $25
Sleeping Dogs - My friends also love this game, they say it's like GTA only better in a serious way $40

Too many games to list, so I'll just list one randomly off my library:
Borderlands
... Well, hey, you said "RPG, shooter, and sandbox".

The Ys games.
Dungeons of Dredmor
Super Meat Boy (because everyone need to play that game--who doesn't own that game by now)
Binding of Isaac: If you want a game with tons of replay value due to randomness. It's also pretty hard until you get the hang of it.
FTL: Faster than Light: Replay value, randomness and bullshit (in a good way most of the time)!
I'm not listing what people already said before.

Recetter (RPG, you role play part as a shopkeeper, part as adventurer in dungeon)
XCOM - Enemy Unknonw (turn base strategy, with base building gameplay, one of my favourite titles of 2012)
Farcry 3 (first person shooter / sandbox, great story, really nice combat, and huge areas with lots of interesting things to explore.)
Saints Row 3 (sandbox with over the top story and gameplay. Really fun if you can appreciate its humor.)
Honestly, the last good classic rts is probably starcraft 2. Red Alert 3 is also pretty fun, but it is better if you have someone to play coop with.

Avoid Steam like the plague. Their games are loaded with DRM.
