"Guys who are into gaming are not necessarily watching television"
It's funny because they are always showing Cops on their channel not gaming stuff.

I'm into gaming and I don't watch TV so this is a fair statement. At least they are aware of this.

This is all NBCs fault. As soon as they acquired G4 they've been trying to make it into a Spike TV clone by shoving Cops, Campus PD, Ninja Warrior, ect and reducing gaming shows.

Welp, guess I can't watch E3 on my fancy television anymore.

Ninja warrior was cool, and that show Code Junkies was great. But it's sad to see the network turn into a "manly channel for manly men such as myself" kinda' thing. I actually thought some of X Play's reviews were very fair.
Though, I can agree that I don't watch TV for video games that often, I'd rather just go online. [S]Rants[/S] Reviews done by pissed off gamers are much better to read haha.

Comcast is largely to blame for this. It all went downhill once G4 acquired TechTV.
NBC's meddling was really just the final nail in the coffin.

I miss the days of Portal, Cory Rauss hosting Cheat!, Cinematech, Icons, and Arena when Wil Wheaton was one of the co-hosts. :(
Also, I never knew NBC had a hand in the BS changes to G4 over the years. That's kind of hilarious, considering they can barely keep people watching their primary network...
