Rpg maker is made to let people make games the good old way.
this game is just made to look the good old way, no rpgmaker to it.
I doubt games like Final Fantasy, DragonQuest, Secret of Mana, ect were made using an easy to use program like RPG Maker
Also it's meant to look like the snes and genesis era 2D games, but it looks really really damn cheap just like 90% of the RPG Maker games

The way it looks doesn't matter as much, as long as it's something my imagination can fill in.
And well... I love the way SNES Harvest Moon looks.
I just hope there are community sprite packs. D:

I love Friends of Mineral Town. Best one imo.
And yeah the graphics just makes me dislike it even more, combat is meh, wish it wasn't there but whatever.

So yeah, i've been hooked on the SNES version since I started playing it yesterday.
The best part of that one is that no time passes at night...then when I switched over to MFoMT I was like, wtf how can I even get anything done.

There's been a bunch of new Stardew Valley screenshots and graphical updates that you can see here. :) The old 'meh' sprites have been completely revamped, thankfully:

You can vote for it here on Greenlight if you want to help, which also has more screenshots:

Or vote here if you want it to attend E3:

Really glad that I found this topic. :D
