No background music

  You should first check if your volume isnt on mute or anything silly.
  Some places doesnt have a BGM, like anywhere in Iria, so check your location.
  Sometimes if you stayed there for god knows how long, your music stops playing or something like that.
  Or you can just mute it and play your own music. BGM sounds really gay to be honest

  no background music any were bt sliders say its maxed out
  i can hear sound effects like lightning bolt and weapon swaps and music playing works fine

  Did you download the game without the mp3 music files? Because it definitely sounds like the files that should be in your mp3 folder are missing.

  how do i get these files then :p cuz i went downloads and i diidntsee an option for full game or just the npc files when i initially downloaded it

  Oh, interesting. They used to have a place where you could download the client without music, then download the music after, but I don't see it anymore. Sometimes downloading the music files only would fix sound for people, but now I can't find it. If I see it, I'll let you know.

  Just installed this game again on my laptop yesterday and at this point I noticed I am also hearing no background music in game. I'm guessing the mabinogi mp3 folder isn't supposed to only have 6 things in it? :S

  I usually go looking for the new sound mp3s ~here~. It has the newest mp3s from KR also. You can use add-ons like DownloadThemAll for Firefox to make it easier to download all of them at once.

  Yeah, I ended up getting most of them from zermoth, and a few more from another site that zermoth didn't have. For convenience, I've gathered everything I've found into a single zip file which can be found at rapidshare.com/files/1222032254/SIVLEOLMabinogiMusicFiles02-21-2013.zip
