OpenDNS Problems.

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. You can not register, post or otherwise interact with the site other than browsing the content for historical purposes. The content is provided as-is, from the moment of the last backup taken of the database in 2019. Image and video embeds are disabled on purpose and represented textually since most of those links are dead.

I get this often when I visit Vahlse site, but recently it's been happening on mabination, too.
It fixes itself, but it can last anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours for me ._.

This is from the guild site.

Is there any way to fix this? And I'm using the DNS server addresses from that other thread a while ago when the server change thing was happening, but this still comes up sometimes.
This is what happened this morning, except this message didn't display on chrome. It only said that the webpage could not be found.
I went and tried internet explorer and basically it showed a more complex version of this. I didn't screenshot.

I had the exact same problems as you. I just ended up turning off OpenDNS since it's being screwy with Osay's moving.

In the connection settings where you changed your DNS, make sure you only have google's DNS (or your ISPs ones if thye povided any and you rather use those).

8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 is google's. Click on advanced to make sure there is only those two.
Once that's done click OK out of everything, then open up the command prompt and do "ipconfig /flushdns", or restart the computer if you want to be extra sure. Also clear browser cache to be safe, especially with chrome since it's weird like that for some reason.
