Well, it does seem to be basically a more high-tech Dwarf Fortress.

Not that that's a bad thing. Should be fun to play.

But that doesn't make this game any less fun.

But all these few games that are being developed in the last couple years that are CLEARLY heavily inspired by Dwarf Fortress don't make me want to play them, instead they make me go play Dwarf Fortress instead. I mean, they feel very similar, but with 95% of DF features removed, the only thing that changes is ZE 6RAFiX, I like ASCII thank you <3.

People finally realized how awesome it is and everyone decided to try to do it better.
