They're quite interesting, idn't really live them at first, but it can get intimate at times.
What are your thoughts on them?

Singles or Triples for me.
Rotation really relies too much on luck. Being able to switch between 3 pokemon without using up a turn makes it way too difficult for both players.

I don't really enjoy singles that much, doubles I like, Triples reqire alot of thinking(Guess the same apllies for rotation).

Triples team setup is quite fun. Its doubles but with a lot of room for theorycrafting. Rotation on the other hand is just raw tanking.
You win rotation battles by having the best wall. Something like Skarmory, Blissey, and Jellicent setup will probably tackle anything no problem. That or fill the entire team with hyperoffensive sweeps and gamble hard.
Its singles but you can switch without using a turn. It completely removes any and all consequences of a switch. Dance-Moxie switches without losing stacks... how horrifying.

Thats what I like about rotation thought, you have to predict what your foe is gonna do.
I'd be interesting if they had doubles for rotation(Two pokes in the front and one in the back)

If you're gonna play Pokemon, prediction is everywhere.
I prefer Singles, just because. Most people find rotation for shits and giggles.

Singles has more prediction than rotation...
you switch between like 2 pokemon
and Ashitoki pointed out there's no penalty for switching

There is actually no prediction in rotation battles.
In singles the "prediction" value is limited at around 3 to 4 choices at most, so you can play some mind games with your opponent. In rotation battles the computational options multiple by an exponential amount. You cannot "predict" anything, because there are so many options made viable that it becomes impossible to properly guess what will happen next.
Rotation having +5 priority ruined rotation battles. It would have been a bit better as a -5 instead.
