When I'm on Chrome and open a new tab to go to another website sometime the tab just hangs there and doesn't even show to be loading the page I typed in. I tried many websites and it does the same and on another tab as well. First time it happened I closed chrome and it wouldn't open anymore, tried it on internet explorer same thing. I then went to My Computer and is stopped responding so I tried to shut down to turn my laptop back on and it seemed to work but then when shutting down it would just show my background and stayed there for a good while till I had to force shut down. I seems to happen here and now so I'm wondering what the heck is going on, is it a virus or something?

It's pretty much a virus imo 8D.
it's one of those thing where freeware installer asks you to change default search engine and no one bothers to check it off.
make sure to get rid of all extensions that isn't ad block.

Doesn't seem to be the extensions that are causing it since I took off all of them and it still happens.

make sure your default search engine is google and not conduit.
maybe that helps.
if that doesn't, google is an option.

Did you install or update a virus scanner?
Some of them scan everything on the page and even the links. It'll hang your computer for a few seconds and or a few minutes on google. AVG has the weirdest google scan.
