What you gotta do is clickspam from step 0 to 6 no hesitation or fear, works every time.
You could also wait until Alban Knights Dungeon come out for R6 to be more successful than not (67% chance anyone?). That's what I'm doing.

I just feel like R6ing is never worth it. Since you need effectively an unbroken string of upgrades to succeed, your odds of actually getting to step 6 are 0.02% (1/5000) and the failure at step 6 will just destroy it. Better to push the odds until r5 and then call it a day, since that stopping point doesn't blow up your stuff.
