  Bought 10 quests for ADV dungeon thinking it was for regular dungeons
  Tried fighting a brown grizzly bear ancient at cumulative level 1
  Used six nao stones fighting the thing
  Failed 3 basic SM consecutively
  Lost all duncants
  Tried to farm to get 80k to get musical knowledge
  Was me
  being a noob

  Elf? Damn. I was going to say "marble's a super cheap cp gear to start with" but you need jackal/cub, and those get pricey. Also the whole age restriction thing. Cubbing up an ageless genderless pirate outfit is hard work.
  
  
  Uh... you can probably farm a difficult scroll and shove it on a lorica. You can do other CP stuff yourself too, but it requires some minor sequencing and can take a while. Very worth in the long run tho.

  currently im just spamming their method hard and the kitchen dungeon, the mobs in those places are strong and boss respectively, when i need awful mobs i just get a tendering pot from lorna, since i have some saga coupons from my semi-regular saga runs

  With 4k total ur cp should be low enough easily so you could do first room of the other alchemists. I have trained tons of cp skills in first room then leave before my cp got too high :/ The alchemists are like very powerful while the golems were boss which made the mix very convenient. Hell at your total scc should still work pretty well for you.

  I finished Cursed Labyrinth in ~8 minutes - the last room had dolls and I wanted to show off a little, killing the last one with Focused Fist and while it worked I have probably discovered a new bug that locks a character entirely (so loading FF again doesn't work).
  And so I was standing there for over 10 minutes, contemplating the misery of life and my lost gold chest.

  Pretty sure your partner got the final blow then. That glitch happens when something your client registers as hit is already gone on the server end, as far as I know, such as someone else killing it at the same time you try to focus or in this case it despawning.

  My control bars were 50 shades of horrible, i think i used over 100 of them to r4 it, then used lucky and 100% chance to r6 them lol

  Two (amusing) Failures from VHM runs the past two nights.
  
  
  One: Last night I was placed at sheild. So me and the other sheilder wer waiting and waiting for girg to Hail. And suddenly he did a movement and at the same time me and the other sheilder used SOT and girg decided to delay which caused the sheild to run out and when he hailed and me, other sheilder and the two we both were assigned to sheild all suffered a horrible death. Thankfully we all had a good laught at it.
  
  Two: Tonght I was assigned to spike and was placed as someone being sheilded, instead of normally taking my mimic. Well For some reason during one of our runs tonight, I ran to the mimic pit and stood their, DIDN'T summon my mimic and proceeded to get hit with hail. I laughed.

  I've finally managed to go up to rank 4 which is a first on this weapon, but I'm back to 0 again. This puts me at about 45+ stones used on it now to still be at 0.
