This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. You can not register, post or otherwise interact with the site other than browsing the content for historical purposes. The content is provided as-is, from the moment of the last backup taken of the database in 2019. Only admins can completely delete posts. Not even Super Mods can. (edit: Oh, apparently only Os can then)
There are good reasons for this too, you'll just have to trust the staff to not be dicks and relay information they shouldn't. If you believe one did, I'd recommend talking Juno or Osay about it, see what their position on that is. As long as people are respectful and explain their problems properly, there's always ways to help you out.
Thanks, primarily i would ask because of privacy concerns.

Something that makes me wonder..are the settings such that mods see the different edited versions still too, or is that an admin only right?
The forums I frequent typically only let mods see the current version, older edited versions have to be dug up by admins.

Yes, and they will tell other people what is said because privacy doesnt matter, people with mods in their pocket and favoritism towards a certain member.
And you cannot possibly guess what member i am referring to.
Uh, if this is happening you should probably inform Osay or Juno.

The thread is kinda spammy
anyway, I've always been able to delete posts, but because threads are the public's and not yours you can't delete them

I thought you could delete a thread if it doesn't have any replies to it yet.
Or maybe nation in particular doesn't. Permission settings in vBulletin are controlled by the admin's discretion by clicking on some checkboxes, so maybe not. I'm gonna test it right now.

I still want to know what's going on. I have no idea where to start looking. .-.

Honestly, considering it's something he said was personal, it's a super dick move to go looking for it. The post was deleted, and considering you aren't a mod, there's no way you'd have access to it anyway. Not everything has to be out in the open.

I do not like stirring a hornet's nest, it is not my place or my right to do so.
Not to mention, who would honestly believe me regardless? There is no sense in drudging something that may not even be "there"
However if i am 110% certain, i will bring it up.
