It would be great to meet fellow superhero fangirl\boys here:blush:
Let's explain me here >.<.
I'm Izzy, Izzy is just one of my many nicknames. I've been into loads of superheros\villains varying from DC and Marvel. Right now I'm obviously in the Loki fandom.
I'd love to know more about you :D

Not much of a Superhero fanboy, but after reading Marvel's Runaways series it want to make me get more into superheroes comics. The story starts off as these who have super powers find out that their parents are super villians and runaway, hence the name runaways.
It was a pretty great comic book series until the creator from buffy took over and ruined it so bad that Marvel had to cancel it early in Volume 3.
Don't have a favorite super hero since I liked everyone from Runaways the same.
Also Runaways had one of the best comic book covers artists I've seen, this being my personal favorite.

I love runaways. I found it with my Young Avengers folder and it was amazing. :D

Ah right, I forgot that I wanted to read Young Avengers. Someone introduced me to them years ago and loved it, but I focused on Runaways more.
I wish more happened when Runaways met Young Avengers during the mutant civil war, it was too short, and then when they met again during the skrull invasion.
Anywho if you love Runaways you're going to hate the complete nosedive Runaways did once Brian K. Vaughan leaves to focus on his other comics (which should be Volume 2 issue 22,23, or 24). Really as soon as Vaughan left the team the issue after it was terrible and would get worse further on.
Ugh, it bothers me so much because Runaways was such a great comic book series, and once Buffy The Vampire Slayer's creator took over he made the whole series terrible by his lack of knowledge of the series. I can go on but I don't want to spoil it for you. D:
While he doesn't always write superhero stuff Brian K. Vaughan's work is top-tier stuff that everyone should check out.

Ah right
I started reading Young Avengers because I heard Kid Loki was going to be in it, the one from JiM, so I decided to read the first comics before waiting for YA v.2. It must of sucked when that happened. I never really watched Buffy. Never really felt like it, I haven't watched many tv shows, actually uvu.

Two heroes I love very much.
Silver Surfer and Sentry.
Sentry is just awesome. Quite possibly the most powerful superhero ever. He ripped Ares in half like it was nothing. But that's not why I like him. He was always struggling with non hero stuff; addiction, his wife, slowly slipping into madness due to the Void, etc. I also like how the creaters created a real world publication history for him. As if everyone just forgot about this mega powerful dude from the 40's, to go along with the fictional history, where everyone on earth had the Sentry erased from their minds to save them from the Void.
I probably like Silver Surfer more then anyone though. I believe it was the first comic I ever read (don't remember which issue though). His comics always seemed to be about existentialism, and as a weirdo grungy teenager, that appealed to me growing up. After leaving Galactus, he flew around the galaxy, going from planet to planet, seeing hardships, and finding out about the fear he would put into entire planets when he was Galactus' herald. I actually didn't really notice for a long time how powerful he really was. I just loved him for who he was. Sometimes I wonder why he doesn't get enough recognition.
Sorry if it seems like random dribble, I get a little excited when talking about Silver Surfer. If I could put it into words I'd talk about him for hours and hours~

Don't worry I do that a lot too. Usually with Loki. My favourites are pretty cliche. I like Thor and Iron Man if yer talkin' about just super heroes. My favorite Marvel character is Loki, obviously and my second favorite is Deadpool. I've only liked em for a year, almost, but I got addicted from the first comic I read so I know as much about my favourite characters as people who's been reading em for ages.

Growing up I mainly watched Batman the Animated Series and Superman the Animated series.
So naturally I pick Batman. However I like Iron man and Captain America too.

Ooh! I also like Spider-Girl. And that whole alternate future she's in. It's all Silver Age-y and whatnot. Actually I like everything related to Spider-man. I always try to pick up the latest Spider-Man comic.
[S]just for the sake of talking about DC[/S] I haven't really read anything DC since the new 52. Booster Gold was always cool. I like how he would just act incompetent just to hide his awesomeness.
