Well when it comes to this.. There is really no contest. Minecraft PC hands down:awesome: But my gamer friend wants to argue that Pocket Edition is better!?:fail3: I mean, I don't hate on the PE I just hope a real HUGE update comes soon.:cryno: It's pretty entertaining when I'm bored in school. But there is so much that you cant do, or very difficult things to find. Like gold and diamond for example. /).(\ Someone said it was possible. But I had mined for like 2 days and haven't found it. But that's just me, I personally think it needs an update. Anyone else?:glasses: Can you at least think of good qualities about the PE?

I tried PE and the controls bugged the hell out of me. I couldn't easily build things so I gave up.
Also PE will always be inferior as it's on a mobile device that doesn't have all the capabilities that a PC posses. Vanilla Minecraft is boring anyways. Modded Minecraft is where it's all at. Can the PE edition be modded easily? I don't think so.
Case closed.

Does your friend have anything to support his claims?

PE's controls are... yeah
Meanwhile in PC minecraft, you can save everything in files, you can mod it and you can play on online servers.
only real thing PE has over PC version is that Cyan flower.

Same as everyone else has said. The controls in PE are annoying and really hard to use. It can only be entertaining if you're lacking access to a computer and you've got nothing better to do.

My only complaint with this thread: How else could you do first person controls on a touch screen?
As far as PE goes, its perfectly fine.
But the PC version is far better, of course.

I'm just stating my opinion. The effort to make minecraft on a touch screen is impressive, but I prefer the PC version because of the awkward controls, and for other obvious reasons.

Yes, the controls are limited on a mobile device and that's the issue. Minecraft wasn't a game meant for mobile devices. Mobile devices have better support for things that are more 2Dish in nature like your classical RPG or much simpler games than that Minecraft is.

Minecraft has no reason being on the pocket edition imo. You cant build efficiently and the survival mode isnt even fully developed. Im ignoring controls because for being a pocket game the controls are as best as they can get.

Does the mouse wheel count as a hotkey?
