Recently, the TV play “Two Broke Girls†is very hot. Highly recommended by my close friend, I have to pay attention on it. In order to know the complete plot well, I decided to watch it from the first season. To be honest, I was attracted by the actresses’ personality at the first episode. Max is so funny and humorous, Caroline is sometimes innocent while she is a financial genius. Conversation between the two is so interesting that I can’t help laughing while watching.
Now I have finished the first season. Look back the whole process, I found the plot that Caroline took out her white pearl necklace and step into Peach’s house with confidence is shocking. In real life, poverty would make people lose confidence. The poor is afraid of communicating with the rich, while a piece of expensive accessory may support us just as Caroline has her pearl necklace. So, I’d like to know your answer: Is it necessary for the poor to own luxurious jewelry? And what’s your reason? Looking forward to see your reply here very much! :)

It's not necessary, but it occurs nonetheless. It's like me in Mabi, I have a bunch of nice looking equips and stuff, but I'm broke as broke can get

I take it English is not your first language? Anyway, I think it is true that poor people might try to wear nice cloths or expensive jewelry in order to feel more confident. When you're poor, you don't have many luxury items, so you tend to take pride in the ones you do have.

Well, I am sure we need several items that can help building our own confidence though we can not afford many expensive items. Though we are not that rich, it is true that we can have exquisite life by arranging it delicately! :)
