Sooo, yesterday I reset my computer to its factory state, and redownloaded mabi.
And now, everywhere I am in mabi, whether it's Ch.1 Dunbarton or like... Ch.7 Dun Library, my frame rate is low, I think. I mean, I run around and the screen moves very choppily, my characters animations are choppy, bears practically teleport to me when they charge, and I can't figure out how to get it to go away.
I don't think it's related to lag, I can still cast heal pretty fast. I set all the performance options to the lowest settings.
So I'm just wondering if anyone who's recently downloaded mabi has experienced anything like this, and if there's anyway to make it stop. x.x
tyvm. :>
(random off-topic question: is it possible for a very lag-less person to windmill spam charging bears even with Fast weapons? Cuz I can only do it consistantly with Normal and Slow ones.)

fast weapons i'm not sure, since they're down for less time.
it's not very save to wm spam fast enemies :X
and if it's a graphic problem only maybe it's your drivers?
you said you reset it, have you reupdated the drivers and such?
anything else you do on your computer have choppy animations?
i'm not much of a computer whiz :S
maybe restarting comp or reinstalling mabi if no other ideas :S

I'm thinking you need to update your graphics card drivers.

Okay...sooooo, I've been trying to update my driver, and so far it is being a betch.
Like...I went directly to the NVIDIA site, and it's all 'go to the computer manufacturer's site cuz you have a notebook computer'
sooo I go to Acer, look up my computer, and download the latest Intel VGA driver thingy. It downloads, and then as I start to install it, it warns me that I have a newer version of the driver already, and that I shouldn't overwrite it.
Everything is so confusing. It is like I am an old person trying to understand a new remote control, or update a graphics driver.
Tyvm for your help anyways dudes, and if anyone happens to have an Acer that uses, uh, Intel...graphic...things or something, maybe he or she could let me know how to make my computer awesome or whatever. e.o

Go and toggle with your card settings under user CP.
That's what my sis did with this computer and I rarely have bad framerate.

Intel IGP's are the worst you can find.. Expect terrible frame rate at all times, there is nothing you can really do.
(I have a laptop with an intel IGP and I can barely run mabi on the bare minimum settings + lag fixes + graphics reducing mods)

You should go to the Intel site for the update.
Click here it'll redirect you to another page on there site (did for me at least). There should be a button to detect your current drivers, just run it and then download and install the one they advice. I just did mine and it seems to have removed allot of my grafix lag. But I went from version 6.xx to version 14.37.
I hope that'll help.
