This doesn't happen every time but it happens now and then.
When I hit quick reply, type a post, then press "send"... it just pauses. When I press send again, I get the flood control message.
I get curious and to ensure I did not double post, I would open up a 2nd window in my browser to see if the thread I posted got my thread but it didn't.
So I go to the original browser, hit send again then I get a flood control of like 1,200 + seconds... what? Each time I press send, the message doesn't post, but the "flood control" wait time jumps higher and higher. The first time I encountered it, I was worried I would never be able to post in a million years (because it reaches unimaginable digits).
But when I refresh and try to repost, it's no problem at all without the flood control stepping in. Also I observed when I go into the "more detailed" posting windows (Go Advanced), this problem doesn't occur at all.
I know it's a minor inconvenience and I could simply copy my post, refresh, then post, but it would be good if you could look into it.
Usually these small problems can develop into bigger problems later on if the forum undergoes weird downtimes or "time space" messages.
Thanks,
Kenero
Additional Information:
I run Windows 8 (x64) Home Edition and using the up-to-date Opera Browser (maybe that contributes)? Ad-block Plus is on 24/7 though I don't need it for Nation, but it's on by default.
