  This is certainly an ambitious project. It will be interesting to see how they do it, provided they are actually able to.

  Saw this a few months back. The concept is amazing, and I hope that they take the time to make sure everything is set to their standards before releasing it because theis can either be a horrible trainwreck or a damn great game.

  That's part of the idea though, we didn't magically poof into existence and form a happy society.
  Players would need to establish things like security/police groups within their settlements to take care of troublemakers.

  Structural society will be formed, most players will be labor grunts, battles will rarely occur outside of neutral and pirate territories, etc.

  even so.. in RL, peopel fear death and avoid doing things that could get them caught, imprisoned or executed..
  
  Virtual worlds kinda break that wall. some people may just create characters for the purpose to destroying other people's things, like how there is plenty of greifers in minecraft..

  Again, looking back in to EVE online, this wouldn't be a huge problem.
  
  Pirates go pirating. Otherwise you stay within the safety of organized groups that back you up if anything bad happens. Player governments are strong.
