it has 2550 Megabytes of ram
im unsure on the OS i think its 7 but maybe its vista (i hope not)
its got 100 gig hardrive (soo small)
but only has 35 gigs left of free space :3
.... just looked at the OS sticker on bottom its vista ...
how would i go about pirating a copy of 7 so i could reinstall with it having 7 ???

But we can't link you anything for win 7 cracked or whatever.
So you'll need to live with vista or buy your own installation cd.
But really, you'll be fine with vista until you're able to get your own laptop.

im actually gonna be saving up for a desktop tho

Why do you want to reformat it in the first place?
Vista is ok now with all the updates since release, it's still windoze, but it's workable.
If it's just for space in the partition, then just look manually, it probably came with software installed you won't ever use. Start by going to the control panel > uninstall , and see what's there.
