Hey guys and gals. I'm (sorta) new to this game, I've tried it a year or 2 ago but never got past lvl 20 :fail3:
Anyways, I hope to get along with everyone, meet some new friends and if I'm lucky, finish the main story XD
So here are some questions I hope all you pros out there could answer:
-Partners? what are those?
-Commerce? What?
-What's a good mount pet to get?
-Do I need a premium card?
-I can sorta guess what talents are, but I've never seen Martial arts skills or Puppetry so can someone explain that?
If anybody could help me get started I'd be eternally grateful :chin: :beg:
Oh btw my IGN is Segris on the new server (I forgot what it was called x__x) TY!
edit: what does new beginnings mean?

Welcome to the Nation!
Thanks for giving mabi a chance again, here's some answers to your questions.
-Partners? what are those?
Partners are an NX only pet that was on sale for a limited time for like $15. Partners can be summoned on homestead and can be used to double gather and can repair magical items (stuff you have Fleta repair) if it's a butler, accessories if it's a maid, and clothing repairs for both. You can also get daily gifts from them which may contain dungeon passes, SM passes, some herbs, and potions. They also sell items like butlers sell Magic Powders and maids sell clothing as well as cooking supplies and other odds and ends. There's a few differences between the two and it's a lot more complicated than that. There's also Commerce Partners which are primarily used to help carry more commerce goods and aren't used for much beyond that. There should be a Partner guide in the Guide section that will give you a hell of a lot more specific information if you are still interested.
Go here for more info: http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Partner
-Commerce? What?
Commerce is a system where you trade goods between towns for more ducats, exp, and gold. You have to watch out for bandits. It's slow going at first until you get a Wagon and after that it's faster. While your commercing you have a 30% damage penalty so something to be mindful of when you do commerce. Recommended to commerce with groups unless you are uber strong like 2k total at the very least to handle Vets.

-What's a good mount pet to get?
Good mount would have been the Nimbus but those are no longer available. Dragons would be next which also are no longer available. You can get a free eagle and thouroughbred through beginner quests so I wouldn't buy one if I was you.
-Do I need a premium card?
You do not, unless you want to rebirth and change your looks. You can also change your looks via buying pons in the item shop. I would recommend free rebirthing at age 20 (rebirth to age 17)
-I can sorta guess what talents are, but I've never seen Martial arts skills or Puppetry so can someone explain that?
Talents replaced destiny system and you get boots from each talent which really buffs up your skills. There's 16 different talents with different levels from Novice -> Master and Grandmaster if you spend 1mil and do a lot of hard missions, quests each day until you get 20 seals which will give you the max boost. You can only have 1 Grandmaster Talent though. When you rebirth you'll see a huge list of it. You can also read up about it in greater detail here:

As for the new beginnings thing I never really understood it myself. I don't think it means anything special and can probably be ignored.

Welcome to this place :awesome:
If you got like 10 bucks, a Shire is an ok first mount. I think it's the cheapest one? and has good inventory space.
Plus, another player can ride it along with you, so you can pull into Dunbarton and be like "Hey ladies, room for one more~ :chin:"

Actually I was thinking of something like a broomstick or magic carpet. They can fly/float regardless of the location, yes? Anyways, it's good to see this game isn't pay2win XD at least from what I've seen so far.
Thanks to all who posted replies and welcomes :D

Flying mounts can only fly in a few places on Uladh, and everywhere on Iria.
