Sometimes when riding in the car, I like to count the lines in the middle. Sometimes even the breaks where driveways are on the sidewalk. And even count mailboxes or look for satellite dishes.
Does this make me weird?

Sometimes I make the specks on the windshield run an obstacle course through telephone poles and trees and mailboxes and the center lines on the road...

No different from staring at the clouds, trying to make out what they look like.
Or pretending to run along the rooftops of the buildings you pass.....

Lol, I remember in elementary school I'd just stare out of the window of the bus and imagine this.

I count everything. For no reason.
The number of keys/buttons on my keyboard, buttons on my taskbar, tiles in a ceiling or floor, the list goes on.

I do that very often too. Also with stairs I go up or down. When I've got nothing else to do I also do it with the stones I step on while waiting for the tram or bus.

I remember having a secret race in the car when I was a kid
I wouldn't say anything but I'd be like "NO NO YOU'RE LETTING THEM WIN" in my head

This, at night I would make the droplets dodge street lights.
