Hey guys, I was wondering if there's anyway to improve your ping?
Whenever I play League of Legends, or Vindictus I spike and it's really annoying. I recently just upgraded my Internet, and it's faster but the ping hasn't gotten better.
Is there anyway to improve your ping or is it just because I live in Canada?

You want to improve that 15ms ping? Because 15ms is pretty damned awesome.
Do you mean ping to the game server? If you actually have that number available and it's unreasonably high, there's a large list of things that can contribute to that.

Yeah when I play League it's around the 100~ mark (which is good) and then it spikes all the way to 500+, making me lag and it's just really annoying. Same with Vindictus, I'll spike and my bar will drops which will make me lag pretty badly to the point where I'm unable to attack.

Most likely the distance. You should test your speed in California servers to see the actual ping you get. Obviously when you test your own area's speed it's going to be very high, but the game's servers aren't hosted in AB so speedtest wont show your ingame ping.

Ping usually spikes like that when you have another application using the internet connection. For instance streaming music, loading imagey web pages, or any other task that involves your internet connection can make your ping spike. It can also rise if another resident in your house is using the internet at the same time as you. Try and be aware of the times when it spikes, might be something updating/loading or someone on your connection with you to help you pinpoint the problem :)

So I tested it, and yeah it's around the 100 mark like I said which isn't too bad and it makes everything go smoothly.
Even if I play at 4 in the morning when everyone is asleep and I'm the only one online it still spikes so pretty sure it's not about how many people are using the Internet. I close my web browser when I play, the only programs that still run that take up bandwith I can think of are Skype and Steam.

So the distance is a major factor, and because of that there's not much you can do except maybe get even faster internet.

50mbps basically makes me seem like I'm living next to Nexon's HQ despite being in NYC.
Other than getting faster internet, I don't know what else can help. Maybe lowering MTU but that's not really for lowering ping. Other people may know more.

Do a traceroute to the server(s) in question to get an idea of where the issue is.

I'm afraid traceroute won't show anything useful because his ~100ms ping itself is fine. Spikes happen randomly. Most likely, it's as Okami said: Another process on your computer decided it needed to upload or download something in the background. If it's not that, then it's an issue on your ISP's side, or somewhere along the path to the server where the network experiences heavy load or a brief outage, causing the packets to be momentarily delayed.
I suspect that there's not much you can do about it, except maybe switch ISPs and hope that the other one has a network with a better path to the server.
