help with some views

Well, I'm trying do draw something, but I can't get side drawings right. I just wanna make a better picture of these characters. Like, I just don't understand SHOULDERS. So, I came to here because I know of some great artists I like to follow on these forums. Hopefully you guys can help me~

This is what I have so far, and again. it's shoulders I just don't understand. I can never make them look right. Side views are my worst. At the same time, I also don't really understand how I would draw the fins on the eel, since it would be like, a frontal view sort of? I really hate asking for this type of help because now I feel like I'm not REALLY drawing this. Anyways, here are some reference pictures on how they do look, since they are still pretty blank.

Anyways anthromorphs take on human anatomical characteristics, so if you're looking to learn to draw them, you should just draw people for a little while.

Besides anatomy, there's an obvious lack of perspective knowledge (really apparent on shoulders in first picture), so read and practice that as well, and draw perspective lines when drawing your furry/scaly friends.

I think you've been staring at really muscular characters(which all furries seem to be) too long. Part of it has to do with how long and wide the neck is because of the trapezius muscle? on a character. And part of it also has to do with correct arm muscle... drawing? Idunno,lol. It doesn't look right because your characters are wide, but their small arm muscles are making the anatomy a big mess. Either slim their bodies down, or make their muscles wider. Define the neck as short or long and where you want to start it, usually muscular characters look like they don't even have a neck since the trapezius muscle is so big.

Some examples from my sketches would probably help(because I'm trying to learn just as hard as you):

Bookmarked and will use. I end up getting bored a lot recently, and THIS will kill a lot of my time, And to everyone else, I know how to draw certian views a lot but not side views. I have the body posture all messed up and I can't tell what I need to change to make it something I would like. I was hoping someone would give me some reference pictures of side views.

also, I may draw furries now and then, but i'm not focusing on drawing furries ALL THE TIME. I do draw females a lot though.. ; w ;

EDIT:
I think i'm just going to leave it like this. lower part of arm is still too big, didn't get the angle I wanted to draw it at, and weird fin. ugh.
