Ohmigosh I want r6 CM now...
I can really help people out a bit if I can play all those songs...
Too bad i'll have to wait til at least friday night to even look at G11 :T_T:
You mean to say that the best scroll has a r6 combat mastery requirement.
Time to annoy people with default music in Dunby so I can get +96 Max Damage.
I only have 2 Defense anyways, so the penalty is like nothing.
won't you need someone else to play? :o
otherwise the boost would go away before you have time for a real attack :X
I was under the impression that it lasts 1 minute no matter what, meaning I could just start and stop it.
The wiki and "No matter how long the music is, it will only last for 1min" are misleading. (No matter how long - so a song could be one note?)
Here's some information on the new scrolls!
I love MabiData, man. Those people are always up-to-date.

edit:
btw why is this pre-G12?
what happens in G12?
Interesting guide, I didnt know you could play instrument + golem at the same time. You should make note that the golem is basically useless until like rank 9.
Suggested:
Rank 9+ Alchemy Mastery
Rank 9+ Summon Golem
Wow the scrolls arent cheap
so if you use the scrolls your paying 2k a play for the mp scroll
and 600g a play for the combat scroll
Thats alot of money to make back
Otherwise those two are some effective scrolls
I have no qualms with any Bard that wants to join my party if they know what they're doing. Healers, on the other hand, are worthless and are not worth my time. Allow me to explain.
Combat value is summarized by your overall contribution to a party. Standard value can be displayed as 100%. Two offensive players represent 200% as they produce twice as much DPS in a perfect situation. This allows a support character to determine their overall usefulness.
Take for example the magical music effect "Fast Casting" which decreases magic load time by 10%. In order to make up for the damage lost because you aren't contributing to the party, you would need to reduce the magic cast time of at least ten players. Since the maximum party size is capped at eight players, this effect is useless.
The scroll that boosts damage ouput on the other hand is very useful. It increases damage by 31%. This means that only four players are required to make up for the damage lost. In a full party, you would effectively have twice as much combat value as another player.
Healers, on the other hand, only contribute to the party by preventing a wipe-out and prolonging Dark Knight transformation. They add no combat value to your party. Essentially, your teams ability to take an objective is not influenced by a healer. Mabinogi is not about tanking until you can take advantage of mana shield, at which point healing HP becomes completely pointless. Healers, unlike Bards, are completely outclassed by potions and party feathers.
