Um...this is something that I have been puzzled over for awhile.
Regarding the success rate for Evasion.
The evasion description says: Bends the body and moves nimbly with the possibility of avoiding an arrow or bolt attack.
The evasion preview video says that you can "completely avoid ranged attacks."
The evasion summary chart on the wiki has a min evasion rate and max evasion rate, which seems to insinuate that evasion can fail, even when you time it correctly. Is this true? Because I've seen a few videos of people using evasion, and they never fail unless they lag.
Also, if Evasion is a percent-based skill, can someone explain to me what the min % and max % are for? For example, rank F has a 46% minimum evasion rate and 58% maximum evasion rate. To me, this seems a little stupid, since you can just express that as a 52% evasion rate. So I have no idea what that means.
Someone clarify this please? (without saying tl;dr)

the chances change depending on when you are hit during evade like ranged attack

All I know is that Evasion can definitely fail.

So if you time it exactly so that you get fired at near the end of the animation, you can get 100% evade?

That's the glitchy version.

I know it hasn't been released, I'm not an idiot...
I just thought they were both the same versions.

The current version is like an ancient prototype from the medieval times. It doesn't even move the character :V

Consecutive evasion count refers to the ability to use evasion multiple times before the cool-down is activated. The probability that an attack will be evaded is dependant on your skill rank and the timing of the skill. The "middle" of the roll animation represents your maximum evasion rate.

You mean, exact middle? Like perhaps a timeframe of .05 seconds? (Or longer?)
That would suck :\

The success rate is based on an equal distribution curve.
Example @ r1 Evasion:
70%.....85%.....100%.....85%.....70%
etc.

Still better than taking a magic bolt to the face.
Bolt camping will become a bit easier to get out of i hope...
Since charge can't block bolt stun.
