Report Function Feedback

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. You can not register, post or otherwise interact with the site other than browsing the content for historical purposes. Some of you may have noticed for the past few days, but by the system constructed by this discussion, we will now be returning feedback on the reports you make. We can make this an official thing now that our great Soda Dispenser overlord has decreed upon us the great and mighty [DISMISS] tag for nationbot threads.

What does this mean? You'll be receiving a private message right after your ticket has been reviewed and dealt with by the moderator in charge of your case. Remember that we can't always be active, and certain cases require some discussion, so your pm will take anywhere from a minute to a day to arrive.

These pm's will be titled "Report Feedback", will include a reminder of which report we're talking about, and the actions/reasons we've taken for it. If you ever do not agree with the decision made by the moderator, you can report that pm and we'll have the staff review it as a team.

Remember, your moderators are not robots and are unpaid volunteers, so help us help you help the site.

I still have a little more work to do before the procedure is followed properly, since I'm seeing two reports that were resolved and dismissed without seeing a log on it, but it is a huge improvement from the way we were dealing with reports before.
