  Pretend your homestead is a little isolated oasis in the middle of the desert.~ It's not like there's much of a difference between Udlah and Connous homesteads as far as surroundings go. Both are pretty much barren.

  Finally finished all the poles [S]until my Homestead expands[/S]. All the re-arrangements. Scarce Iron Ore Fragments demotivated me from finishing. I wanted colourful poles so I could line them up into rainbows of color at night, but I can't fathom how many holes through my wallet it'll make.
  
  I need to get more flowers, herbs, and other decorations to replace and fill in certain places too.
  
  If I ever want to change the design of my Homestead, i'll probably jump off a cliff. Except for the inevitable expansion. ^____^

  On our right, what I call the guest side. I keep food there and a tiny pond we can all sit around if we decide to fish together. And the candy trees in case anyone wants magical candy growing from trees...A cookie tree may be in order. Hm.

  I pretend the Outlaw's Booty's are more food-related goods and blankets for picknicks. I've also used that paint mixer instead of an oven since the real oven will be on my production side which looks...bare right now. I still need to decorate the area around the pond a bit as well.

  At long last, I've finished my homestead. Complete with everything except for golden and base herbs, including a PVP zone (Red vs Blue) and a spirit garden. The design was intended to have a peaceful and a fighting zone. Spirit garden + Farms for peaceful and the open area, which is further divided into red vs blue. Blue is more production oriented (Most Tools + Chopping Blocks + Mana Herbs + Laundry) while red is combat oriented (Sunlight + Bloody herbs and an upgrade anvil + Outlaw Booty + Outlaw Disguises)
