I'm almost Definite. That Players know what a Hack And Slasher is.
And if your Referring to the Difficulty? And did you read what i just wrote? Half of them don't even skip episodes 1-3. Because most of them Don't Know How to. And after 1 Level Up Their supposed to do High Level Raid's? No. So Youv'e seen Over 10 People in Irukul who are level 51. Am i correct?
Back on subject. Knowing this from experience from myself and other players. Many grasp the Basic concept of Hack n Slashers. They get the Hang of it from level 1-10. They Even have "Partys" to make it easier. This isn't MH Where they kick Lann's and Other useless people.
@Bolded. Tell me, is your 51 Lann really the highest character you have? Because if so, you really don't know where Marene and I are coming from.
Yes, I have seen tons of people at level 51 in Irukul. Half don't skip it? You look up the game on the website, there's an event that talks about how to make a level 50, even in the game, the quest leads you to the cat and he explains how to do it. And so, we have level 50's doing episodes 1-5. They're going to steamroll that content and not have a single risk of dying, until possibly Hidden. You haven't done the stuff that we'd consider challenging. A long time ago, they nerfed level 1-59 content, making it all easier. Most irukul parties these days FAIL, because people don't know what the hell to do. They don't know what a break off is, how to get it, etc. My point against your, "They can play through the game because they don't know how to skip it." Sure, they play through the beginner episodes and what not, but where's the risk? Where's the, "Crap, I might need to change my playstyle because this boss is kicking my ass." There's no real adjustments, people learn the game differently. There's no learning experience, or growing. They can half-ass most of the stuff and not learn from how the boss is.
Second point is the 60+ stuff, what we'd consider end-game. Yes at one point, we were all not used to bosses and our parties wiped. However, we adjusted and learned, and during said battle, we used previous experiences from other bosses to our advantage. What experience will they have? One of the first challenges they'll have is probably Hidden, and that's not much of a challenge. It's just a big difficulty jump, from where there would be a constant increase if you can even call it that now. The 60+ raids introduce knew stuff they never experienced, and without a better knowledge of their class, they're just going to be on the floor, with Help! above their head each time. Though gear can carry a player, unless the newbie is a spender on nx, they won't be able to get the stuff to carry them, thus having to rely on their skill and due to their lack of experience, they'll generally just not do that good.
I'm not saying every single player is like this, but a good portion most likely will become as I've stated. Would you really want a player that hasn't played Vindi at all to be thrown straight into stuff you do now, the stuff that you may have deemed tough in the past and murdered you?
