Is this a glitch or...?

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. Edit: apparently I'm not getting any gold for this so I don't think its the quotes doing it

Possibly the way the quote extends the post?
I think osay said something about gold being rounded to about how long your post is.

I think you might be getting more gold from all those pets, not the quotes. I tried the quotes thing and it didn't give me more gold.
