Question about laptop's poop graphic cards

Anyways. My question is, is it possible to add a second graphic card to my laptop without screwing everything over? My current one is an on board card, Family intel HD graphics or something. It's pretty crappy on some games.

Additional info: 6 GB ram, quad core Intel i5 @ 2400 GHz or something <--- does it matter? Need more?

The short answer is no, most laptops are not designed to have their graphic card changed, especially if they have onboard graphics (which is what you have with intel HD).

Depending on the exact laptop model it may technically be possible, but you would need to do a lot of research on that.
