S4 problem with the launcher.

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. I'm usually very good at troubleshooting my issues but the answer to this eludes me.
Basically the problem I have is that the launcher comes up, I click start, and nothing happens.

I've tried reinstalling and it does the same thing each time. Which is patches the game(very fast I might add) and then disappears. When I click on the program again the launcher comes up again but doesn't attempt to patch and allows me to click the start button but nothing happens when I do that. The launcher simply disappears.

I use AVG security and I'm running 64 bit windows 7
My computer also meets all the requirements for the game.

Sooooo, plz help? =)
(p.s. I did have the game working before but I took a long break. I came back to play about a week ago with this problem.)
The game is called S4 league.

Maybe your system had a hicc-up and this is the problem?

Maybe it's also some game-specific graphics settings that are messed up. Maybe try reinstalling the GPU driver.

This seemed to be the fix for me, it was weird because I already had it added as an exception but once I added it as an exception the way they listed it worked... Oh well, thank you for the help!
