...I don't think you understand what's happening right now.
Nobody in Watertown is allowed to go outside. At all. Or in Boston, Cambridge, Waltham, Newton, Brookline, and Belmont. That's about a million people.
All public transportation, save for expensive-ass taxis, have been shut down. Most hospitals are on code black, meaning they won't admit anyone for emergencies. Schools and businesses are closed. There is absolutely nothing happening in Boston, Watertown, Waltham, Newton, and the surrounding towns. People have been told to stay inside.
There are thousands of cops in the streets of Watertown, methodically searching every single house in a city of over 30,000 people. There was a bomb detonated at the suspect's house in Cambridge, but nothing is happening save for the police investigating any calls or threats that could be related.
My dad was just called in from 4 to midnight, but fortunately he's just patrolling his town and not Watertown...at least, hopefully not.

Well isn't that FUCKING great, now people will go rabid over Islam again. Thanks a lot you two twats, you couldn't hurt your Ummah more. They are so stupid, they could be Serbian (European in-joke).
I was thinking this too

Technically, the problem is with people being racist twats who decide to judge an entire race based on the actions of the few, not people bringing a bad name to people of their race/religion/etc. (although I totally understand people being ashamed of those within their own race group *looks at all the generic, racist white hicks in my area*)

Both work hand in hand.

They just brought in the wife and child of the first (dead) suspect.
Right now I'm watching footage of them doing a pat down of the mother before she gets into a car for questioning. Awful.

Now that is something where privacy is actually really damn important. Why doesn't the US have laws against this sort of stuff?

The media is just relentless. They've given us links to this guy's personal twitter, shown the dead suspect's wife, interviewed uncles and friends and classmates and it's just...why can't we talk about the people who passed away?
I know that he is obviously on the forefront of our minds given that there's probably the largest manhunt in the history of ever happening right now, but enough of the focus on them.
right now, they're showing a SWAT team going into a house and evacuating people. It looks like they're holding people at gunpoint when they do.

okay I'm seriously pissed at the reporters who won't leave the family members of the bombers alone
it wasn't their fault leave them alone, they're going through a lot right now
at one point the dad was cornered and he started to cry saying
"i had nothing to do this, please let us grieve"

Yeah, I stopped watching because I'm sick and tired of these "interviews."
Press conference in Watertown in 20 minutes.
