  It changes size depending on the size of the rider, but defaults to the size of the owner.
  When a 10 year-old elf owns or rides it, it's about the size of a tricycle.

  The stats on the Wiki are the base stats. Crafting it will make them much higher than that.
  When you craft equipment with the new skills, you get the base stats plus a bonus.
  So instead of 8~18 for the attack, it's 8(+0~#)~18(+0~#).
  It could be, say 9~19.
  
  Whether or not the crafitng bonus goes high enough to beat the one from the event, I don't know.
  Ask a magic crafter.

  any by stack i mean can i put like 100 of them into a single 1x1 slot or does it go up to 5 or do i need 100 individual slots ?

  Nah, pets have a distinct age pot they specifically use. Your average tin pot age pots are only for human consumption
